Tianjiao Zhang
Tianjiao Zhang recently earned her Master’s degree in Education Policy and Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She holds a B.A. in Media Studies and Education from the University of California, Berkeley, where she explored how digital media and bilingual environments shape children’s cultural identity and adolescents’ sense of self. This early interdisciplinary training allowed her to investigate the intersections of media, education, and child development. Building on this foundation, her current work is situated in the field of Learning Sciences, with a particular focus on children’s literacy development. As a Research Assistant in HGSE, she involved in multiple projects on literacy interventions, children’s cognitive development, and home-based reading practices. More broadly, she adopts a critical perspective on emerging technologies, examining how artificial intelligence influences children’s learning and behavior, especially in the domains of literacy and moral judgment.
