Yijing Chen gained her master’s degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research broadly focuses on language and literacy development, with a specific interest in evidence-based interventions for K–5 students with language and literacy difficulties and emergent bilinguals in both home and school settings. She is also interested in the design and evaluation of technology-supported interventions that promote children’s language and literacy outcomes. Prior to HGSE, Yijing earned a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Zhejiang University, where she focused on Chinese–English bilinguals’ second language learning and examined how emerging technologies influence students’ language learning.
